RECOMMENDED POUR

The High Queen

The High Queen is one of the best ways to enjoy Maharani Gin’s unforgettable sensorial experience of flora and spice. To make your own, pour 40ml of Maharani Gin in a glass over ice, top with premium tonic, and mix thoroughly. Add a grapefruit and mint garnish, sit back, sip and enjoy!

Inspiration behind the product

Maharani Gin symbolizes revolutionary Kerala rebel spirits and figures of female empowerment. All the distillery’s botanicals are sourced from a women’s organic farming co-operative in Kerala. The Gin’s brand name, Maharani or ‘high queen,’ comes from this region. It pays tribute to Kerala women who are known for their strength and importance in society.

What makes it unique

Maharani Gin offers a unique, but accessible flavour profile – a balanced mix of spice, citrus and sweetness rather than a juniper, pine forward traditional gin. This should be your next addition to your bar if you are tired of the traditional flavour profile of older style gins.

Maharani Gin pairs particularly well with spicy food. We recommend trying it with your next curry. The spicy herbs of the curry and refreshing botanicals of the gin are a match made in heaven.
