Barreled Oak is smokey, with notes of warm spices, marzipan, dried fruit and chocolate rye, and with a distinct character of oak barrel.
It doesn’t taste like a whisky, but offers the complexity, intensity, mouth feel and length of a fine bourbon, which makes it one of very few alternatives suitable to to sip neat.

Inspiration behind the product

Gnista Spirits Barreled Oak is full of complexity, spice and length. It was created not to replicate the taste of whiskey (since the creators don’t believe in imitations. Instead, it contains the elements we know and like - smokey, spice, flavour depth, spice, length and a prominent taste of oak barrel.

What makes it unique

Barreled Oak doesn’t taste like a whisky. But offers the complexity, intensity, mouth feel and length of a fine bourbon. It’s one of very few alternatives on the market suitable to sip neat. Just like the rest of the Gnista products, Barreled Oak is hand-made, in small batches, in South Sweden.

Delivery Timeline

Orders typically take up to 48hrs to be delivered. Express orders can be fulfilled within 24hrs if placed before 2pm.

Orders will be invoiced by end of day on the day they are placed with +30 day payment terms.
